Did some rough prepaint work. Mainly some red primer for all of the metal parts and Taniya White primer on the plastic. Then a quick coat of Dunkelgelb (tan yellow) behind the wheels and on the road wheels themselves. The rubber rimmed road wheels are really nice. The rims went on easily after I painted. They are then secured to the torsiona arms using tiny set screws.
The quarter in the one image gives you some visual scale. This thing is really big! When finished it will be 21" long.
