This is one of the two Porsche prototypes that was tested. The Henschel turret wasn't ready so a concrete turret (weight simulator) was used. After extensive testing the engine was deemed unsuitable and the contract for the Tiger projectc went to Henschel. The 90 or so Porsche hulls were turned into the Ferdinand/Elefant which was a fixed gun assualt weapon. IT was a miserable failure on the battlefields of Russia and ITaly.
The hull is from the Italeri kit, the turret is a resin cast, and the airfilters and engine covers are scratch built.
