Focke Wulfe 190 F8

Doing my second plane in tandeem with the ME 262. It is the Tamiya 1/48 sclae kit. Both of these Tamiya plane kits have been really simple to construct. These photos shows the first part of the painting process. Primer, preshading black on panel lines, Luftwaffe gray blue overcoat, masking the bottom and applying the light gray green to the top panels of the wings and the fuselage.

In all the steps I have tried to do the weathering with the airbrush by letting previous coats bleed through and creating splotchy vertical strips instead of smooth coats. AS well I have used various tints of each color to highlight panels and add lowlight depth to other parts.
