Unfortunately I am still in the process of finishing up construction of the three panzer models mentioned below. The new airbrush is operational. Hope to get these going again this month.
IN THE MEANTIME....
Annabelle and I hastily assembled one of her Xmas gifts: a scale model of a Star Wars AT-AT Imperial Walker. Shown above you see it with a base coat (preshade) of black and then subsequent sprays by Annabelle and I of a light gray acrylic paint applied thinly and in splotches to give it a weathered, worn look. Letting the black base coat show through is a great way to give it the realistic patina we see in the movie. Final walker will have stenciled pink hearts and of course proper weathering to reflect battle conditions on Hoth.
