Preshading:
The tank is preshaded with red brown on the top and a bright red primer for the lower half and roadwheels. I then spray a darkbrown/black on seams and panels lines.
Base Coat:
Dark Yellow base coat is applied leaving some of the preshading still visible. A lighter mix of the dark yellow is then sprayed towards the center of panel areas to give a nice gradated effect. The 503rd had a very bright base coat so I added more than the normal of white to the dark yellow to brighten the mix up.
Camo Pattern:Dark Green and Red Brown are sprayed in the camo pattern using the refernce photos I dug up. In addition I further diluted the red brown with thinner and sprayed the bottom half (road wheels and underside) with this red brown mix to take the edge off the red primer.
