Post-Shade Fade Coat:Sprayed a very thin mix of the dark gray base coat. I used a really thin line and sprayed this along the white camo outlines and around edges of panels. Basically just blending some of the harsh white camo inot the base coat a bit.
Turret Numbers:
This model is based on one of the initial 5 Tiger Is that fought around Leningrad. Photos of the #4 Tiger show a black handpainted four on the turret and no other insignia showing on the vehicle.
I hand painted the number with black paint and my thinnest brush. I used tape as a guide to keep things straight.
Gloss Coat:
After drying 48 hours I applied a coat of Future Floor Wax in preparation for the upcoming oil washes.
