Much has happened since the last post.
1. Further dry brushing of the red oxide color has taken place.
2. Dark yellow lightened has been dry brushed onto some of the high areas of the model, where some of the tan paint has remained and onto bolts and sides to add dimension. In addition patches on the turret sides and the front hull have been hit with fresh tan to emphasis the paint deteriorization.
3. Some dark brown acrylic has been painted on seams and in spots to suggest further paint wear and rust beyond the red primer. This is only in a few spots and will receive a rust treatment down the road.
4. Some manufacturing production numbers have been hand painted onto various spots. I got these from the famous photos of the Tiger I being built at the Henschel factory. It will add realism to the prototype.
5. Two rusty washes of burnt sienna, crimson and black have been added to the tracks which look very rusty from recent disuse.
6. After outlined the numbers, I filled them back in after seeing them. They looked too finished for a test tank.
