E-100 German Heavy Tank Prototype #1

This is to document the workbench progress of my first DML model build. The E-100 will be a fun project since the tank was a prototype design by Dr. Porsche that never saw action. This tank was discovered by the Russians at the end of the war and was blown up by them or the fleeing germans, not sure which. I believe the allies appropriated it but unfortunately for the historically minded was cut up and sold for scrap.
At this point the hull and lower half have been assembled and the first track has been glued onto the road wheels. The DML tracks are single link assemblies in gray plastic. This 1 track took about 2 hours to assemble. It went on very well. At this point there are some minor gaps in the body that will need to be filled.
