
Here we see the construction groups for the E-100. Turret, hull, and side armored
skirts, which I have cut into seperate pieces for realism.The plan will be to do a primer and first coat on all 3 groups (airbrushed), and then assemble the armored skirts and proceed with local airbrushing and brush.
Photo of the STUG above at Ft. Knox shows what the factory red primer (there was a dark yelow coat ontop that has obviously worn away) looks like. This will be a great reference for the paint work.
Paint scheme will be a standard factory red primer and a protype rust preventitive base coat of dark yellow. The idea being that since the tank was never ready for battle, it basically was tested as if it was received directly from the factory with perhaps an inital attemp to arrive at a field painted battle tank or to prevent it from rusting extensively.
